What I do know is that I crash with these clients in singleplayer and multiplayer, and I do not crash with the optifine mod by itself without a client. [Guide] How to Install Minecraft X Ray Mod in your PC:

1. Make a backup copy of your Minecraft.jar, so you don’t lose anything.
2. Download the mod from the links above, open the zip file using WinRar/7zip.
3. Now go to Start > Run > Type %appdata% and hit enter.
4. Go .minecraft/bin sub-folder and open Minecraft.jar file using WinRar.
5. Drag and drop the mod files into .jar file.
6. Delete META-INF folder there, close everything.
7. Run Minecraft.

Note:

• Make a back-up of your Minecraft directory and saves before installation.
• Try X-Ray mod on a fresh copy of Minecraft to avoid compatibility issues.
